By booking tutoring services with ELL Explorers, you agree to the following terms:

📅 Session Scheduling

  • All sessions are 60 minutes and conducted either in-person at an agreed-upon public location, or online via Google Meet.

  • Sessions must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Time zone: All times are in Eastern Standard Time.

  • Small group tutoring sessions may be between 2-4 learners. It will not exceed 4 learners per group. Best efforts will be made to group learners based on goals and needs.

🔄 Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • You may reschedule or cancel a session with at least 24 hours’ notice at no charge.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full.

  • No-shows (more than 15 minutes late without notice) will be treated as cancellations and are non-refundable.

💳 Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of booking. Sessions are not confirmed until payment is received.

  • Accepted payment methods: Credit Card, PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle.

  • All prices are listed in USD and include any applicable fees.

🧾 Refund Policy

  • Refunds are not offered for completed sessions.

  • If a session is canceled according to the policy above, a full refund or reschedule may be offered at your request.

  • If a session is interrupted by technical issues beyond either party’s control, a partial refund or reschedule may be offered.

📚 Student Responsibilities

  • Students are expected to arrive prepared with relevant materials and assignments.

  • For minors, parental/guardian consent is required, and supervision may be requested during online sessions.

📲 Communication

  • Email or messaging support is available for quick questions between sessions, but extended support or assignment help outside of sessions may incur additional fees.

  • Messages will be responded to within 24 hours on business days.

🖥️ Technology Requirements

  • Students must have a reliable internet connection and access to Google Meet.

  • Please test your audio/video before the session begins.

🤝 Code of Conduct

  • Respectful, focused behavior is expected during all sessions.

  • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in termination of the session without a refund.

🔒 Privacy & Confidentiality

  • Student information and session content will be kept confidential.

  • Sessions will not be recorded unless both parties consent in writing.

  • While every effort is made to support your learning, no specific academic outcomes, grades, or test results are guaranteed.

  • Tutoring is intended to supplement classroom instruction, not replace it.
